To activate a Favorite – select the one that is relevant to your current location then push the allocated quick key in the sequence shown.
For example: to active the UHF CB Favorite – you would push 3 then 0 then the E.Yes button. Repeat this process to turn it off. You can also access the Favorites via the Menu.
ONLY activate the relevant GRN Favorite that applies to your location. Having other areas on that are not within approx 50 kms of your current location will hinder reception and scan speed. For example - you Cannot hear GRN sites in Sydney if your in Newcastle.
Having irrelevant sites active will also give you a false reading of the location as the GRN shares many of the same control channels within it's network.
